Packers Story: LITTLE-USED 20-INCH SETS WERE IN SUITES SINCE 2003; TO BE SOLD FOR $30, 'AS IS'
The Green Bay Packers will be selling used 20-inch JVC televisions for $30, "as is," on Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Packers Pro Shop Game Day Store on the west side of the stadium, facing Ridge Road.
The TVs, more than 450, previously were in Lambeau Field suites since 2003 and used primarily on game days. The suites are in the process of being upgraded with new flat screen TVs for the 2009 season.
All units, which will be offered first-come, first-served, are not HD-capable but are cable-ready and therefore will work with cable TV systems. For use with off-air antennas, however, a digital converter will be needed. Also, remote controls are not available for all TVs; available remote controls will be included with TVs on a first-come, first-served basis. Universal remote controls are available for purchase at area TV retailers.

Packers Story: The Green Bay Packers have signed guard/tackle T.J. Lang. The signing was announced Tuesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.
Lang, the Packers' fourth-round pick, started every game during his final three seasons at Eastern Michigan, opening up 26 contests at left tackle and 10 at right tackle.
Lang is the fifth of the Packers' eight draft picks to sign with the team.

A total of 90 prizes will be awarded in the contest, which will run from July 20 through Aug. 7. Each day, participants will be e-mailed a link to the day's trivia question with multiple choice answers from which to choose. A correct answer will increase the odds of being randomly selected to win a prize. Participants need only to register for a chance to win a prize. However, with each correctly answered question, their odds to win are increased.

Packers Story: Eight-Ticket Limit Per Purchase Lifted; Event, Set For Aug. 8, Will Benefit Wendy's Wonderful Kids Program
Nearly 50,000 tickets have been distributed for 'Packers Family Night, Presented by FOX 11.' The event, which will take place Saturday evening, Aug. 8, will benefit the Wendy's Wonderful Kids foster care adoption program, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
Groups of fans who may be considering purchasing tickets are encouraged to do so, as the initial sales period has passed and the
limit of eight tickets per purchase has been lifted.

Packers Story: Green Bay Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy and the Packers organization have partnered to make a $100,000 donation to Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan., it was announced Thursday. This is the second year McCarthy and the Packers have made a donation to the university.
"It's an honor to be able to continue this support of Baker University," said McCarthy. "To this day I continue to apply what I learned there, both in the classroom and in the college's community. The lifelong lessons have been invaluable."
McCarthy, now in his fourth season as head coach of the Packers, earned a degree in business administration from the school and was an all-conference tight end and senior captain in 1986, helping lead the Wildcats to an NAIA Division II national runner-up finish. He was inducted to the school's hall of fame Oct. 20, 2007.
